Chinese Whisper of Dragon Ball Z

This is a series of videos on YouTube that have just cracked me up for the past hour. The premise is that a guy, who hadn't seen Dragon Ball Z in two years, plays Chinese Whisper with his friend who had never even heard of Dragon Ball. The result is this incomprehensible, almost dream-like series of events that only bare a passing resemblance to the source material. As hardcore fans, some of us will pick up on key phrases that are dead-giveaways in where this random nonsensical inaccuracies came form. The videos themselves consist of seemingly pitch-modified narration that accentuates the bizarre sleepy quality of the videos; almost as if your slow uncle is reading you a bedtime story while high on shrooms. The narration is depicted by a series of cartoony, sometimes really funny, illustrations.

The audio quality improves in the fifth installment, "Moonlight Saga", so its much easier to listen to. I'd recommend starting on that one to see if its for you. It probably is not though because these videos are really fucking weird. They crack me up though.

5) The Moonlight Saga
4) The Vegeta Saga
3) The Nappa Saga
2) The Cabbageman Saga
1) Radditz Saga

I shall henceforth refer to "Yajirobe" as "Yajaroobi Dooby".

This is absolutely fantastic. I was in stitches the entire first video. There are SO many magnificent siggable lines in here. Thanks for sharing.

My new favorite character is Groucho. I wish I could do the Kamoyamo Ray.

Edit: I'M A WORLD CLASS SPECIAL PRINCE, THE BEST PRINCE IN THE UNIVERSE!

I could sit here and quote this thing all day.

This is amazing

"Nappa powers up and defeats Kami, then his other hand falls off. Nappa grows a tail and gives Kuririn a Spirit Bomb, someone bites Nappa's head off, Vegeta buys some Kaio-ken Balls and kills Nappa"

"Vegeta finds a Gallick Gun and tries to shoot Goku but misses and shoots Planet Kakarot"

Ok I give, this is freaking hilarious but I don't even get half of what's going on. Some references are to obscure like "one of the cabbage men finds a dragon ball and piccolo kills him", I mean... what?

This was the single funniest thing I've seen all week. I want more! I want more! I love the names he gives characters:
Groucho, Bumly, Yajirubiedubie.

"Vegeta buys some Kayo-ken balls and throws them at Nappa."
